Facebook launched outrage for banning mastectomy photos

Social networking site Facebook has triggered outrage among many women specifically those who have suffered breast cancer and those who have undergone mastectomy.
The site reportedly banned the photos of a few of the survivors posing topless following a complaint that it was offensive. The photos revealed the women's mastectomy scar and their proud faces that showed no shame.
According to the survivor who posted the photos, it was their way of conquering their fear and insecurity having one of their breasts flattened out and their way of expression that they are proud individuals despite the operation.
